Adrienne Dowhan, Editor-in-Chief
Adrienne received her BA in Psychology at UAB and conducted her graduate studies in Environmental Science at UMASS, Boston. After graduate school, she joined the faculty of Suffolk University in Boston where she taught Physical Science. Adrienne came to IvyEssays in 1999 with a vision of helping all motivated students achieve a higher education. Roz received her BA in English from Emory University, and later earned her MBA at the Goizueta Business School at Emory. Roz was an Assistant Dean of Admission for seven years during which time she read and evaluated over 10,000 essays. She currently works part-time as an independent college counselor.
Gina Buonaguro, Senior Editor
Gina, a Fulbright Scholar, received her BA in English with Honors from Villanova University and her MA in English from the University of British Columbia. Gina is a published author and teaches a writing course for Johns Hopkins University. She has over eight years of professional editing experience.
Lucy Cruell, Senior Editor
Lucy received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in History and Medieval and Renaissance Studies and a minor in Film/Video Theory and Practice from Duke University. She later received her Juris Doctorate with honors from Harvard Law School. Lucy is an attorney as well as a published author, screenwriter, and freelance writer of both fiction and non-fiction. Thomas Vance Sturgeon
Mr. Sturgeon has over eight years of experience in the admissions process as Associate Director of Admission at Duke University and Assistant Director of Admission at Guilford College. Mr. Sturgeon is currently the Director of Admission at the South Carolina School for Science and Mathematics. Today, Mr. Sturgeon is a widely published author and lecturer on the subject of college admissions. He has been quoted in Money Magazines Guide to Colleges and published in the Journal of College Admissions.

Mirium Ruth Albert
Ms. Albert is currently a professor at Fordham University in New York. She was a Legal Methods Professor and Associate Director of Admissions at Widener University School of Law, where she counseled prospective applicants and evaluated over 4000 applications. She also teaches an LSAT course at Kaplan.
Ms. Engle has worked at the Hofstra University School of Law for over seven years and is currently serving as the Assistant Dean for Admissions.
